Excersus XCV: All Right, Now
And so ends the Asgardian arc. I find something stirring in the notion of all the gods having a final feast with everything in them as oblivion closes in on all sides for, after all, isn't that the situation we're all in? The Universe is really quite big and has very definite plans to make sure that the sum of humankind's collective experience totals to zero in the end. That crushing weight is all around us, though the thickness of history and the excitement of the near future screen it from us. So, let's all be pleasant and enjoy each other's company in the time we've got, and be pretty happy that we were able to do so, right?
